Ian Wallis

Director of Star Tech NG Guernsey Limited and member of the Star Bots Fund investment committee. Co founder of Star Tech NG Limited, helped launch a Guernsey fund that exited most holdings between 2019 and 2023. Chartered Accountant; Engineering Science, University of Exeter.

Ian is a director of the Fund Manager and sits on the Star Bots Fund investment committee. He co founded Star Tech NG Limited in 2016 to invest in late growth stage pre IPO technology companies through the private secondary market. In 2019 he helped launch MVP Star Tech NG Fund IC Limited, an authorised open ended Class B Guernsey fund, and sat on its investment committee. That fund exited nine of thirteen investments by the second quarter of 2022 and exited Revolut in 2023.

Ian brings deep experience in structuring, valuations and secondary transactions, and focuses on disciplined portfolio construction and risk management.
